Do you accept insurance and Medicare?
I am a Medicare provider. I am also a provider for Cigna. If you have out of network benefits I can supply you with a superbill for possible insurance reimbursement.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, my office accepts all major credit cards and some flex benefit/health saving account credit cards. .
Do you offer telephone or video-conferencing appointments?
In most cases, I am able to offer telephone sessions and/or secure videoconferencing sessions. As a PSYPACT provider, I am also able to provide telehealth video appointments for many states. Please inquire.
What if you are not on my insurance plan?
In most cases, I am able to provide you a receipt (or superbill) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out of network reimbursement.
Do you screen gestational surrogates and egg/sperm donors?
Yes. I provide comprehensive psychological screenings for egg, sperm and embryo donors. I also screen potential gestational surrogates and meet with individuals and couples for third party reproductive consultations.. > Top
Do you provide support for seniors and their caregivers?
Yes. I not only help seniors cope with medical conditions, but their loved ones, too. I have been a Medicare provider since 2003. If you or your loved one lives in an assisted living or memory care come, please inquire about the possibility of my doing at home visits.
What makes you qualified to do fertility counseling?
While many therapists claim to do “fertility counseling” you need to be very careful and ask about their specific training and experience in this area. Anyone who has experienced infertility first hand or who has worked in this specialty area understands it can often be a complicated medical and emotional journey. Since 2003, I have received much of my specialty knowledge and training through my membership of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and by working closely with different fertility clinics. I understand the overwhelming feelings associated with infertility and pregnancy loss and I feel privileged to have helped many people build their families.
