About Dr. Wilson

I specialize in reproductive and perinatal mental health, with advanced training in fertility counseling, reproductive grief, and pregnancy loss. As one of only a handful of clinicians in the Denver area with this specialization, I have worked closely with fertility clinics and medical providers for over two decades, helping individuals and couples navigate infertility, donor conception, high-risk pregnancies, miscarriage, difficult reproductive decisions, and the emotional transition to parenthood.

My therapeutic approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grief counseling, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed care to support clients in developing greater emotional resilience, self-compassion, and psychological well-being.  My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique experience.

Since 2003, I have also provided psychological consultations and donor screenings for third-party reproduction, including services offered in Spanish.

Beyond reproductive mental health, I work with adults and seniors facing medical challenges, grief, caregiving stress, and life transitions associated with aging and chronic illness.

I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). I am a past board of directors for the Colorado Fertility Advocates (CFA). In the past, I have served as an oversight committee member for RESOLVE-a national infertility advocacy group and I have served as a board of trustee for the Texas Psychological Association.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, my family and I have enjoyed making our home in beautiful Colorado.
